Live Virtual Family Support

$85 / hour

Bring me into your home virtually so I can observe and lead you through exercises to solve your basic training questions and concerns. With one-on-one coaching you can learn how to solve your dog's problem  behaviors and help your pet form new, polite and calm behaviors.  

  • A PDF summary is emailed 48 hours after your session. 
  • Sessions provided in 1 hour blocks.
  • A minimum of 2 sessions must be scheduled to review your learning.
  • Need: smart phone or computer, wireless headphones, internet access.

Family Coach Package

$975

 (*) restrictions apply. 

This package allows for the purchase of support that must be used in a 60 days period consisting of:

  • (4) scheduled 1-hour virtual meetings.
  • (4) 1-hour sessions of hands-on work in your home (*) as needed to meet your training goals.

This mix of virtual and hands-on support is a flexible format that fits the needs of a busy family.

Requirements for in-home work

(*)

(*) For training work outside of the home, a yard with a physical, secure fence is required (NO electronic fencing).

Alternative training spaces may include the use of a nearby secured area for outdoor training, or training to be conducted via a long line.


This does not apply to polite leash lessons however only a flat collar, leash, and /or harness as needed are allowed - no "training collars" for leash work.

No punitive equipment may be used at any time during training.

What does "force free" mean?

Best Pet Forward acknowledges Force-Free to mean that:

"No shock, No prong, No choke and No Pain, No fear, No Force are ever employed in the training, behavior modification, care, or management of any pet" and defines physical force to be “any intentional physical act against a pet that causes psychological or physical pain, harm or damage to the pet.”

A one-time discount of 20% is available for relinquishing punitive training equipment including but not limited to shock, prong, choke, or citronella "training collars".
