Clients ask...I trained my last dog with "traditional methods" so Why change now?

Your dog looks forward to a fresh start in training.

  • Because the 'you' of yesterday is not who you are today.
  • The pet you are caring for now deserves the chance to form a strong bond with its human partner that is based in relationship and reinforcement.
  • When you experience the difference between how you feel in your head and heart with modern dog training NOW vs. the reactionary punishment methods of THEN, you will feel relief and excitement about the future with your pet.

The prong (pinch, shock, choke and zap) are so wrong!

Traditional force-based methods use harmful corrections and coercion to make a dog behave. Dogs trained with choke, pinch and electronic collars are not "behaving" to show they understand what you want, they are "behaving" to avoid further punishment. There are hidden consequences to such types of training and they do nothing to build any meaningful bridge of communication between you and your pet. Traditional methods destroy relationships. There should never be a need nor is there any scientific basis to place your hands on your dog, put pressure on them, throw things, roll them over, spray or shock them -- ever.
